There are a million different "purposes" to modify a car (looks, speed, brakes, handling, satisfaction, etc), and in the end, they are all pretty pointless to most people. One person's "purposeful mod" is another person's "waste of time." Don't worry, if these go into production, you don't have to buy any. =) Truthfully though, I actually started on this project when I was still in the NSX community, where titanium anything is "God-like" haha, and they are my primary community of interest if these check out strength and looks wise. That's why the only thread pitch these are in is 1.5 which as I'm sure you know will not fit the standard Z wheel studs.
